Elvstroem`s younger brother, Haradasun, caught the eye at Swan Hill on the weekend 14/06, winning an Open 2yo event on debut by 10 lengths.
Interestingly, Elvstroem won the same race three years ago, also on debut, before going on to win the McNeill Stakes and also the Victoria Derby. Seemingly, a similar path will be mapped for this young talent.Interesting article I came across,Worth keeping an eye on to see how he goes? |

What about the run of Haradasun from that effort he will be worth following in the future, maybe see what sort of odds are on offer for the Victorian Derby

Well it's been some time since I posted this thread and now we've come to the greatest mile in Australian racing and Haradasun lines up as the $5 fav ,unsure how he will handle the track condition or the advantage or disadvantage of barrier 1 ? but i will put my money where my mouth is with not to much confidence and hold out for the best price. My top four

I was just reading where some clown reckons Haradasun is the most over rated horse in Australia, Sure he did do a fair bit wrong in his first up effort but I'm prepared to put some of my winnings from when he won the Doncaster and back him tomorrow, reckon we will get a fair price as well,then we will see what they have to say,
What are the thoughts of other forum members?can he win the Memsie or are they right he is over rated.

| On checking the data, jumped from barrier 13, not the best for a mid field runner, was calculated to run in the thick of it (check speed map) - it's easier after the event but probably the cause of the failure.... with a better barrier though, I would expect the odds a lot shorter than $3.20 (IASbet). |
